Story Summary :-
OP, Ivy, has been facing years of ill-treatment and humiliation at the hands of her step-mother, Rosalie, and her step-sister, Layla. But all the limits are crossed when Rosalie asks OP to give her childhood room to Layla as Layla has just been through a tough breakup and can’t comfortably live in the tiny guest room. OP is not ready to agree to this so she refuses. Because of this, Rosalie takes an extreme step and throws OP’s stuff out of the room. When OP turns to her father, Arthur, regarding the mistreatment, he takes Rosalie’s side in the whole thing which leads to OP leaving the house and living with her friend.
OP is working in her father’s company so she has to experience awkwardness between her and her father at the workplace. Soon OP discovers the truth that Layla did not break up with her ex-boyfriend, Jamie. But in reality, Jamie had found out that Layla was cheating on him and was pregnant with someone else’s kid, he broke up and kicked Layla out of the house. OP tries to uncover the identity of Layla’s baby daddy and finds out that it is Raymond, the owner of the rival company. When OP looks into the whole matter, she finds out that Layla had been selling information from Arthur’s company to Raymond for money to terminate the baby and Rosalie had known about it all this while. So OP ends up exposing this to Arthur who kicks both Rosalie and Layla out and turns to OP for help regarding his company in debt due to the theft of confidential information. The OP resigns and cuts her father off, leading a peaceful life.
