Story Summary :-
Rick's mother, Ronnie, and father, Bill, married when they were young and had him at a very young age. His mother was money-minded from the beginning. She used to call Bill useless because he was a farm boy, and all his mother wanted was money and city life. She used to blame Rick as well because she thought that because of him, her looks got ruined after pregnancy. After two years, Rick's sister, Georgie, was born, and she was a “mini me” of his mother. Rick, on the other hand, loved farming and helping out his father and grandfather. On the other hand, his mother and his sister always used to gang up and call him stinky and dirty, belittling him and his father in any way possible. Ronnie ended up cheating on her husband; she found a guy rich enough to her taste, left her husband, and took Georgie with her. The new boyfriend had a family of his own, and Ronnie became his mistress. So when he realized she came with baggage, aka her daughter, he started acting weirdly. He used to give Ronnie everything, and Georgie was free-loading from it; she used to act rich with the money and tease Rick whenever they happened to meet through mutual friends by calling him poor and uneducated. But when Ronnie asked his new man to fund her daughter's college, he refused and threatened to throw her out. On the other hand, Rick got the full inheritance of his grandfather's land, worked hard on it, made it big, and is now rich. His mother got jealous and panicked for her daughter and came to him to demand her daughter's part of the inheritance. Of course, Rick denied giving any and said that they are not a part of his life now. Ronnie threatened to file a case against him for not giving her daughter the inheritance. But he told her that wouldn't work because she cheated and took custody of her daughter. That makes them more furious, and they go online to make a scene out of it. When they went viral on the internet, everyone started dissing Rick and Bill, not knowing the truth. But his mother's rich boyfriend’s photo was leaked in the process by Rick himself. So, he gets angry at them and kicks them out. On the other hand, some of her other past boyfriends show up accusing her of leaving them after knowing they didn't have enough money to satisfy her needs. Bill realizes that she was cheating on him the whole time and suggests having a DNA test on his daughter, and it is proven that she is not his real daughter. So, now they can't claim anything from Rick’s grandfather’s will. Ronnie showed up a few times, trying to convince him and his father that she is indeed his daughter, and tried to guilt-trip him, saying that at least they spent so much time together that she is like his daughter. But Rick kicks them out, saying they only gave them sadness and made him think farming is low-life work. Now Rick and his father are going to a therapist for all the trauma they have caused.
