Trump calls New York a ‘very corrupt place’ on fourth day of criminal trial

Donald Trump said New York was a “very corrupt place” as he arrived for the fourth day of proceedings before his criminal trial begins in earnest in Manhattan.

The former president and presumptive Republican nominee, who is facing several criminal and civil suits in his Democratic-run home city, has cast himself as the victim of a politically motivated justice system bent on keeping him out of the White House.
