Willow Springs Big Willow - Porsche 718 Cayman GT4

10-13-23. Back at Big Willow, this time with perfect weather conditions and a freshly repaved track. All I was aiming for was a sub-1:30 and I completely exceeded that goal with a 1:27.83 on the last session of the day. I ran the DBJ wing at a 1°AoA for the first four sessions and could feel the rear get slightly unsettled under hard braking. Switching it to a 6°AoA for the last session removed the instability completely. While this compromised my straight-line speed slightly, it made up for it by boosting my confidence to brake later and push harder in the turns. The car feels perfectly balanced and I am really becoming comfortable with how far I can push myself and the car.
