Disc D-36 - World Broadcasting System

Описание к видео Disc D-36 - World Broadcasting System

The World Broadcasting System was founded in 1929 by one Percy L. Deutsch in New York. The company helmed several historical recording studios, released 16' inch radio transcription discs, and helmed their own production library. Despite their significance, very little from their library is publicly available. This library seems to share some connection with Robert Hall Productions, as several of their early "New World" titles lift ques from WBS's albums. Some late WBS releases are also known to boast the same "New World" branding as well. This entry in particular appears to date back to May 1st, 1967, as written on the record labels proper. These little interludes, specifically the celeste ques, can range from charming to somewhat haunting, depending on the mood and time of day.
