Peru x Italia 2set FIVB Women's Junior 2011

The second Pool E match in Lima, Peru, during the FIVB Volleyball Women´s Junior World Championship Peru 2011 ended with Italy defeating Peru 25-23, 25-20, 25-14 at the Eduaro Dibos Gymnasium on Tuesday. Peru is hosting the event doing so 22 years ago.
Italy's top scorer was Valentina Diouf with 16 points, next to Chiara Scarabelli with 12 points. Peru's Daniela Uribe was the top secorer with 13 points, next to Grecia Herrada and Ginna Lopez with 11 and nine points. Italy held a 13-11 block advantage and slim 5-3 margin in aces. Peru committed 18 errors in the match.
Italy is now 1-0 with three points in Pool E and 3-1 overall in the tournament, while Peru lost for the first time in the tournament and is 0-1 in Pool E.
