The only way for the group to continue to Sanctuary is for Zidane and Garnet to get married. One would think that Zidane would be the one to propose such a plan, but nope, Garnet is the one that says 'Let's do it.'

Afterward Vivi and Quina complain that they would be left behind. There is an option for them to get married as well.

One the mountain path to Sanctuary, the group encounters a little girl named Eiko who turned out to be the thief that was stealing from Conde Petite's residents. Heading to Eiko's they get their first look of the Iifa tree, which the dwarves called Sanctuary.
