Is Keens Steakhouse Worth The Hype? Revisiting NYC's Iconic Steakhouse

Описание к видео Is Keens Steakhouse Worth The Hype? Revisiting NYC's Iconic Steakhouse

Keens Steakhouse is the third oldest steakhouse in New York City after Delmonico's and Old Homestead Steakhouse. It also has a very convenient location, being smack dab in the middle of Midtown, near the Empire State Building and Penn Station. We have actually visited Keens before, and we tried the famous Keens mutton chop, a massive piece of mutton almost the size of my head. I always felt though that we didn't really scratch the surface of everything offered at Keens, particularly their selection of steaks.

Therefore, for the first time ever on UA Eats, we have revisited a restaurant. If any restaurant warrants a revisit, it is Keens. As one of the most famous steakhouses in NYC, it is regarded by many critics and locals as the best steak in NYC as well. We put that to the test, ordering a Keens T-bone steak, that way we get to taste both the Keens NY Sirloin and the Keens filet mignon.

Keens is a restaurant filled with history. The Keens pipe club had many noteworthy people in history as members. The connection between Keens and Albert Einstein, Keens and Buffalo Bill, Keens and Teddy Roosevelt, and Keens and Abraham Lincoln just to name a few are well known. But this channel primarily focuses on food and whether or not the steak at Keens is worth the hype or not is all that matters here!
