New York Post Texas Reporter Jennie Taer says it is a “really scary situation” for the Texas National Guard on the border after they were overrun by illegal immigrants.

Illegal immigrants trying to enter the United States at the El Paso border in Texas have overrun the Texas National Guard.

According to US Customs and Border Protection data, 68,260 migrants crossed the border in Texas in January – a drop from the 149,806 who entered in December.

“This is a really scary situation for the community, for the National Guard here, for state authorities, for border patrol, for federal authorities,” Ms Taer told Sky News host James Morrow.

“I think that this is something that is beginning to boil over in El Paso.”
