Let's Build Saint Nazaire! WW2 Terrain Project Part #2 - Repair & Refresh

Gerry continues with his plans to revamp one of our old boards and some of the terrain for Spring Clean Hobby Challenge 2024. The idea is to build this using inspiration from Operation Chariot, crafting a Saint Nazaire port and dock from World War II for games of Bolt Action and 02 Hundred Hours in 28mm.

In this second video, Gerry starts to play around with the terrain and cuts some lumps off that John wanted to keep! We need to make space for that U-Boat so something has to go.

As well as that, we look into the cleaning of the board and that repair and refresh stage as we get elements plastered and sanded. There might also be some classic magi-mix used before a new coat of paint.

The cobblestones are getting some colour and the water gets a final finish of gel water effect to show it lapping against the docks.
