Supplies: Flash Drives & Notebooks

Описание к видео Supplies: Flash Drives & Notebooks

Supplies are a huge deal not just at the beginning of the year, but throughout the whole year.

With each student now having access to a laptop device I'd like for each student to also have their own flash drive.

I purchased mine from Walmart for around $7. Nothing bigger than 64GB will be needed, but I bet you'd be fine if you wanted to use a 32 GB drive.

We will be clipping the flash drive to a keychain and storing it in the classroom. While we will use our online access to the OneDrive to save and share files, it is still important for students to learn out to use and manage a flash drive.

I am sorry it wasn't on the school list that was sent home. Please let me know if there is a problem being able to get a thumb/flash drive.

In this video I also show what a steno pad is and explain our use of composition books. In writing, we'll decorate one so a normal "unfancy" one is best. In math I like to use the grid journals, but that is completely up to you and your student.

In terms of pencils, glue, scissors, markers, etc... your student will keep their own. In one of the other videos you can hear specifics on what we do with all of the supplies and how we organize them.

These videos are meant to be a reference for families to go back to in order to confirm expectations AND they are meant to give clarification on many of the things we do in our classroom.

Please contact me by e-mail if you have any questions.

Graciously,
