Jamia Millia Islamia postpones Exams; announces Winter Break as protests rock campus (IndiaTV News)

Day after violent clashes over controversial citinzeship law rocked the campus of Jamia Millia Islamia university, authorities announced to defer all semester exams and announced winter break from December 16 to January 5.

Violent clashes broke out on Friday after the students, who were to march towards Parliament to protest the controversial law, were stopped by the police not very far from the campus. teargas shells were reportedly fired to quell the protesting students.
