На дальнем краю России, среди зубастых льдов Арктики, затерялся безлюдный остров. О его существовании мало кто знает, а тем более бывали там. Этот остров, словно спасительный ковчег, собрал всех обитателей Арктики и бережно хранит их от разрушительной цивилизации. Попасть на заповедный остров очень сложно, хотя в прошлом он активно подвергался экспансии человека. Но те грустные времена прошли и судьба сберегла остров, облачив всю его твердь в заповедник.
С Сергеем Горшковым я знаком много лет, и всегда с интересом наблюдаю за его работой, удивляясь его мастерству, упорству и находчивости (   • Плато Путорана. Самые красивые его ме...  ). На этот раз он бросил вызов неведомому острову и отправился в самое его сердце.
