How to Fix Computer Making Grinding Noise (Easy Method)

Do you want to know how to fix your computer from making that grinding noise?? This problem may not be as severe as you are thinking, it could be a simple fix. Unplug your computer and open the case. Place it in a well light area where you can see. Now inspect all your fans and your hard drives. There will be be a fan at the rear of your case, over your GPU and CPU.

Most of the time the problem is associated with the fans having some kind of obstruction rubbing against them. I once had a fan that had a broken plastic be from my case stuck in it. Or maybe something has follow through your case. Either way, it will slow down your fan and cause it to make the iconic grinding sound your are hearing on your PC. When your PC is open, plug it back in and listen to where the sound is directly coming from.

If you can rule out your Hard drives great! You don't need to immediately transfer all your data! (Hard drives make a grinding noise before they fail) Also, I recommend spraying all the components inside your computer with compressed air before putting the case back on. ...
