TalkTV’s Alex Phillips has described the moment she was the victim of a mugging at 11.30am on London’s main shopping street - and how she suffered a panic attack as a result.

Speaking to Jeremy Kyle and Rosie Wright on Talk Today, Phillips explained how her assailant tried to rob her in broad daylight on Oxford Street.

She said: “Before I know it, a kid on a push bike has zoomed off. I have no doubt he was trying to go for the phone… Nobody batted an eyelid.”
