Zaqueri "aphromoo" Black, former CLG and 100T Support star and shot-caller and now retired, is the star of the 288th Episode of 'Reflections'.

aphromoo had a fantastic domestic career in the LCS. After making a small name for himself as an ADC in S2 he role-swapped to Support to pair with Doublelift in CLG for S3 but the duo didn't click much and the first split was a failure and saw him kicked. Returning to try again the following year the now famous 'Rush Hour' botlane reigning as the best duo for the next two years. That culmination was aphro's first LCS championship, over TSM no less, in the S5 Summer split.

With Doublelift and Pobelter removed, CLG became fully aphromoo's team and the captain immediately proved his worth by winning the Spring split of S6, even beating Doublelift's TSM in the final and doing it with a rookie Mid and ADC. CLG then made a run to the final of MSI, the furthest any NA team had ever gone in an international tournament and a mark that remains to this day.

Season 7 was a down year, as a very promising Dardoch-infused line-up blew up before the play-offs could even arrive. In S8 franchising began and aphromoo took the chance to get 'the bag' by joining the new 100 Thieves line-up. He won the MVP in the first split, the only time a Support had won the award until CoreJJ a year later. 100T also made the split final. Roster shenanigans short-circuited them in Summer and their Worlds run was a disaster, one of many bad Worlds runs in aphromoo's career - often due to roster mismanagement and poor luck.

aphromoo continued to play in the LCS but never again found himself helming a team which could rise to the same heights as before. He retired in early 2022.

In part one, aphromoo talked about joining CLG and his early struggles, returning to form the best NA botlane with Doublelift, winning his first titles back-to-back, taking CLG to the MSI final, Monte's impact on his career and why he loved the era of macro tricks.

This interview was recorded on the 19th of June, 2023.
