The director of "1408" and "Derailed", Mikael Håfström, brings you "Stockholm Bloodbath."

The power-hungry Danish king, Christian II, spares no means as he plans to take over the Swedish crown from Sten Sture. At the same time, the sisters Freja and Anne vow to ruthlessly avenge the men who brutally murdered their family. Everything culminates in Sweden's capital, where the sisters get entangled in the intrigues surrounding the mass execution ordered by Christian Tyrant – the Stockholm Bloodbath. Action, humor, and attitude come together in a story where surprisingly much has actually happened in real life.

In Mikael Håfström's film, Alba August and Sophie Cookson play Freja and Anne, while the archenemies Christian Tyrant and Sten Sture the Younger are portrayed by Claes Bang and Adam Pålsson. In other roles, we see, among others, Jakob Oftebro, Ulrich Thomsen, Emily Beecham, Mikkel Boe Følsgaard, and Kate Ashfield.
