you know, kate bishop has been my favorite comic book character since... pretty much when i started to read comic books with the young avengers series. i completely fell in love with her in the fraction run, even cosplayed (badly) as her at my first comic con in paris, so it was quite a dream to see her come to life on screen... i'm still not realizing.

hawkeye comes with its flaws and i both absolutely love it and hate it. marvel made some questionable choices about her character (especially her origine story), but hailee did a phenomenal job at portraying her! i can't wait to see more of her.

also, the title is a direct reference to another character study i did of emily dickinson, this channel is getting meta
