Day 1 of the Ballito Pro presented by O'Neill saw Deivid Silva drop the highest heat total of the day with a 13.33, plus Rio Waida stays sharp and keeps his Championship Tour Qualification dreams alive.

The Challenger Series moves to South Africa for its third battle of the season. In this long-running event at one of the country’s premier breaks, up-and-coming surfers like Caity Simmers, Rio Waida, Sheldon Simkus, and Teresa Bonvalot fight to get one step closer to their dream of qualifying for the Championship Tour.
