Sameer Wankhede Appears Before SC/ST Panel In Delhi Amid Nawab Malik's Allegations Over His Caste

NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede appeared before the SC/ST panel Delhi' Khan Market.

Maharashtra's Minority Affairs Nawab Malik has questioned the birth certificate of NCB zonal director Sameer Wankhede. Taking to Twitter, Nationalist Congress Party (NCB) leader Malik posted a copy of the NCB official's birth certificate which lists his father's name as Dawood Wankhede.

Nawab Malik went further to allege that Sameer Wankhede used 'forged' documents to secure a job in the Indian Revenue Services (IRS) under the Scheduled Caste (SC) category.

On Sunday, Wankhede's father, Dnyandev Wankhede and wife, Kranti Redkar Wankhede met Minister of State for Social Justice and Empowerment Ramdas Athawale on Sunday.
