Amanda Witdarmono is a teacher at heart and has never really left school. She now leads the various teachers’ empowerment programs in Zenius Education as the Chief of Teachers' Initiatives, bridging teachers in Indonesia and technology so they could complement each other in realizing a more meaningful classroom learning experience. She has been in the teachers' development field for more than five years, starting with her founding WetheTeachers out of her master's thesis, and through the work, she has visited tens of schools in various pockets in Indonesia. Amanda did her bachelors in Elementary Education in Boston University and her masters in Education Development in Columbia University in Teachers' College. Her favorite teaching experience was when she taught in the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston. Being in school is the most universal experience that many human beings go through. We did not choose our first interaction with the education system yet it had formed us in more ways than we had imagined. Nonetheless, as adults, She believes that we can choose how we see our schooling experience and what meanings we'd take from those years sitting behind the desk.
