Split Pea Soup is delicious anytime, but I especially enjoy soups in winter. This soup was portioned and frozen to be saved for the coming colder months. I could have cooked this soup on my stove or in my Instant Pot, but I chose to use my Sun Oven because my home was already too hot from the weather. And even better, I cooked without using fossil fuels. The sun is clean renewable energy. The only electricity I used was to run the blender to puree the soup.
