Angus Ridgway talks about his entrepreneurship journey and, passion around those five key components that make us flourish and thrive (SHARP). He developed, along with renowned author Tal Ben-Shahar, a process based on positive psychology and neuroscience that supports individuals to set the required conditions, our peak performance levels, to own the difference we want to make in the world. Angus Ridgway is co-founder and CEO of Potentialife. He is also an author and speaker on the theme of sustainable personal leadership. Translated into ten languages, his recent best-selling book, The Joy of Leadership (J. Wiley), presents the science behind the unique approach to personal leadership development built together with his partner, Dr. Tal Ben-Shahar from Harvard.

Previously, Angus was a Senior Partner of 20 years at McKinsey & Company based in Paris, where he led the Firm’s Strategy Practice for Europe, Middle East and Africa. As he worked alongside CEOs in mapping out their strategies, he became fascinated by what it takes to be a successful leader.

Angus was born and raised in Liverpool, and is a keen guitarist and mountain trail runner. He has a degree in Pure Mathematics from Nottingham University and an MBA from INSEAD.
