ഹയാന് വെറും 9 വയസു മാത്രം. പക്ഷെ വളരെ കുഞ്ഞുന്നാളിൽ തന്നെ ഹയാന് പാചകത്തോട് ആണ് താല്പര്യം. ഒമ്പതാമത്തെ വയസിൽ ഈ ചെറു പയ്യൻ ഇന്ത്യ ബുക്ക് ഓഫ് റെക്കോർഡ്സിലും, ഏഷ്യ ബുക്ക് ഓഫ് റെക്കോർഡ്സിലും ഇടം പിടിക്കുവാനുള്ള ശ്രമത്തിലാണ്. അപ്പൊ പിന്നെ ഇദ്ദേഹത്തിന്റെ പാചകം നമുക്കും ഒന്ന് ആസ്വദിക്കണ്ടേ?
ഞങ്ങൾ കോഴിക്കോടുള്ള ഹയാന്റെ (ഫറോക്കിൽ ഹയാന്റെ ഉപ്പൂപ്പായുടെ) വീട്ടിൽ എത്തിയപ്പോൾ ഹയാൻ ഒരു സ്പെഷ്യൽ ചിക്കൻ റോസ്ട് പാചകത്തിനായി റെഡി ആയി നിൽക്കുവാരുന്നു. കുറച്ചു കൊച്ചുവർത്തമാനം ഒക്കെ കഴിഞ്ഞു ഞങ്ങൾ ഹായാന്റെ പാചകത്തിന് കാഴ്ചക്കാരായി. ഈ ചിക്കൻ റോസ്ട് ഏറ്റവും യോജിച്ചു പോവുന്നത് പത്തിരിയുടെ കൂടെയും നെയ്‌ച്ചോറിന്റെ കൂടെയും ആണ് എന്നാണു ഹയാന്റെ അഭിപ്രായം. ഏതായാലും ഹയാൻ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ ചിക്കൻ റോസ്റ്റും ഹയാന്റെ ഉമ്മുമ്മ ഉണ്ടാക്കിയ നെയ്ച്ചോറും മറ്റനേകം വിഭവങ്ങളുമായി ഒരു അടിപൊളി ദിവസമായിരുന്നു അന്ന്.
These days, it is not uncommon to see kids who are interested in cooking. Hayan is one such kid. He is 9 years old, and is passionate about cooking. And he is aiming for a big milestone. Hayan is planning to secure a place in India Book of Records as well as Asia Book of Records, with his cooking skills.
We visited Hayan's grandfather's house in Feroke, where he cooked a chicken roast for us. It was wonderful to watch him do everything, like a pro. He says that his chicken roast goes best with ghee rice or pathiri. Enjoy his cooking in this video.
