"Kretzsche – The Handball Punk" tells the story of Stefan Kretzschmar, one of the most naturally gifted players handball has ever seen. He partied his way through the collapse of communism and to handball glory on court. The price for the incredible life experience was the strain he put on those he held closest. During this landmark 56-minute documentary, Kretzschmar looks back and reassesses his choices. Through a series of reality scenes with celebrities such as 14x NBA All-star Dirk Nowitzki, Real Madrid football player Toni Kroos, Die Toten Hosen singer Campino, Rammstein drummer Christoph Schneider, handball coaches Heiner Brand and Alfred Gislason and exclusive interviews with his loved ones, such as his children Lucie-Marie and Elvis Kretzschmar, Stefan discusses what it means to be a rebel with responsibility.
