Tattooed men are at the zenith of the media spotlight, but it hasn't always been this way. "Illustrated Man," a documentary directed by Sophy Holland, explores not just what it means to be a tattooed man in today's society, but the history that led to where we are today. In the third and final installment we explore how reality television took the tattoo industry from the fringes of society and into millions of living rooms across the country. By focusing on art and showing the human side of tattooing, these programs made tattooing more accessible and less intimidating to the average person.
