Cobra Badly Injured By The Bulldozer

Spectacled Cobra was hiding inside the bushes after it was ran over by the Bulldozer. When I reached there and saw Cobra's throat area was completely open and I could see the wind pipe while it was respirating quite heavily due to fear and pain. I took good care for a day after the treatment was given by the vet. Unfortunately it died after a day due to pain and injuries.

I strongly recommend do not clear the open lands or sites unnecessarily just to keep the snakes away from that area, by doing this you are inviting snakes come near homes and enter homes. Since, snakes lose the comfortable bushy areas which they utilize for resting and they lurk around those areas to feed to pests and rodents.
