Ukraine ground forces inspect column of Russian tanks destroyed near Siversky River

Footage released by Ukrainian Witness on Thursday, May 19, shows destroyed tanks at the Siverskyi Donets river in Ukraine’s Luhansk region.

The site is where Ukrainian Armed Forces said their artillery units foiled attempts by Russian forces to build a pontoon bridge.

Footage shows military vehicles marked in ‘Z’, ‘V’, and ‘O’ symbols. Several buildings and trees are burned and damaged.

Governor of Luhansk Oblast Serhiy Haidai said at the time that Ukrainian forces had “twice stopped” Russian attempts to cross the river by destroying two pontoon bridges near Bilohorivka.
