стоять - to stand
лежать - to lie
висеть - to hang
сидеть - to sit

16:38 And their transitive variants:

ставить - поставить - to put vertically
класть - положить - to put horizontally
вешать - повесить - to hang something
сажать - посадить - to make someone to sit

We also will learn why you should not say "ложить", "покласть", "повешать" и "весить", and what's the difference between perfective and imperfective forms of these verbs.
