Is The Scout Better Than The AWP?

Описание к видео Is The Scout Better Than The AWP?

CS:GO is the most successful Tac-Shooter of all time so -- as Valorant -- you’d be silly not to take most of your inspiration from it.

That being said, there are certain things Valorant decided not to take from CS:GO. More specifically, there are certain weapons that got left behind, and for good reason.

You see, as much as we praise CSGO’s gameplay, it does have an oddly bloated arsenal. Some guns are equally expensive as they are useless and others are more of a meme than anything else.

Riot Games was looking to make a competitive shooter with precise gameplay that focused on agents, meaning there wasn’t much room for a taser.

However, there is one weapon that Riot did decide to take that we find a bit curious. I’m of course talking about the Marshal, Valorant’s version of the Scout.

We say it’s curious because there is no other weapon in CS:GO that plays a more unique and nuanced role than the Scout. It’s a fast and flicky sniper that has been the ultimate choice for players trying to flex their ability to… literally click on heads.

So why did Valorant decide to include it? On top of that, is Riot’s Marshal any better or worse? And in a weird way… are either better than the AWPs?
