Harvesting SILAGE with CLAAS and MENGELE | Animals on Gelderland | Farming Simulator 22 | Episode 7

Today we are at Gelderland and we have to harvest grass silage before the winter comes. We started by jumping into Toyota 4Runner and inspecting the grass fields that we gonna mow today. After that was done we went to the local dealer and we borrowed Krone BiG M 450. We jumped into it and headed to the first grass field that was near the local dealer. We unfolded the mower and then we set up the GPS and started mowing. We did tho headland passes and then we did ups and downs. The Krone BiG M 450 was doing its job very good and very fast so it didn't take us much time to mow the first 3.44ha field. Then we folded the mower back up and headed to the second 1.38ha field. When we arrived we did everything the same as we did on the first field. After the second field was mowed we headed to the farm where we refueled the mower and we washed it. Then we returned the mower back to the dealer and we jumped into Toyota 4Runner and returned back to the farm. We parked the Toyota 4Runner and then we jumped into Claas Arion 660 and detached the front loader. When the was done, we refueled the tractor and then we attached the silage roller on the back and the silage push fork on the front. We parked the Claas Arion 660 next to the pit and then we jumped into Claas Atles 940 RZ and headed to the neighbor to borrow the forage wagon. When we arrived at the neighbor's farm, we talked with him and he let us borrow his Mengele Garant 4010 D forage wagon. We attached the forage wagon to the tractor and we headed back to the farm where we filled it with silage additive. After that was done we filled the tractor with diesel and we headed to the first grass field. When we arrived we started by collecting grass windrows from the headland. It took us a lot of time to get all the seventeen loads from the two grass fields we moved and in the end, we managed to get over 500.000 liters of silage. After we finished carting grass we washed the tractor and trailer and then we returned the trailer back to the neighbor. When that was done we returned back to the farm and parked the tractor and then headed inside the house to take a break.
