Becoming an American Citizen

March 18, 2024, marked a momentous occasion as 31 individuals from 17 different nations took a significant step toward embracing their new identities as citizens of the United States during a naturalization ceremony.

In a heartfelt ceremony held in the Board of Supervisors Chambers in the Administration Building, at 1025 Escobar St., in Martinez., the community came together to celebrate the culmination of a journey marked by determination, perseverance, and the pursuit of the American dream. Family and friends gathered to witness their loved ones take the Oath of Allegiance, pledging their loyalty and allegiance to their adopted homeland.
