A collage of severed skin sewn into my splintered skull: a masquerade made flesh.
Blessed be my hoax, stillborn resurrection camouflaged.
A carcass carved from wax, shards of glass form my reflection.
To deception I descend, headfirst and falling into hell.
Denied by heaven, in disguise.
Inheriting a halo fashioned from extracted teeth, held together with dried blood.
What remained of virgin limbs, returned to ash, dissolved by the tears of those deceived.
