How to Compose Invertible Counterpoint || Tonal Voice Leading 7

Описание к видео How to Compose Invertible Counterpoint || Tonal Voice Leading 7

In this video, we will go over three different ways of using the same counterpoint as a melody above a cantus firmus and as a bass line below it. This is called invertible counterpoint, or sometimes double counterpoint. Knowing whether or not a melody will work as a bass line in a given contrapuntal texture is an important skill for writing imitative counterpoint -- canons, inventions, and fugues.
