A very important element of every training or football match is a warm-up. Unfortunately, it is often the case that both younger and older players, when they come to the pitch, immediately start playing: attempts to hit the ball into the goal, dribbling, swaying and other activities. Recreational players often do not like warm-up because they do not know how to do it and how long it should take. So if they are already doing warm-up exercises, they often do it wrong. However, warming up is a key element of each match, and a few to several minutes of practice before the game will allow you to optimally prepare for each training.

A properly conducted warm-up determines a much better preparation of the player for the game, reduces the risk of injury and increases endurance during training or a match. This is due to an increase in body temperature, increased blood supply to all muscles, and increased mobility and mobility of joints and overall physical endurance. It is not hard to guess that this translates into better player results, a higher probability of winning and an increase in football achievements.

Depending on the temperature on the pitch, we shorten or extend the warm-up. A few minutes is more than enough in hot weather. In cooler weather, warming up can take more than ten minutes. Considering that only 5-10 minutes of exercises are enough, which will prepare us much better for the game, a properly performed warm-up should start every training or match.

The role of warming up is to prepare the body for increased physical exertion, and thus - to ensure safety. This training component increases your heart rate and blood circulation, and also raises your body temperature.

However, warming up is a key element of each match, and a few to several minutes of practice before the game will allow you to optimally prepare for each training.

On the other hand, the influence of static stretching on the results achieved during the match, player's reaction time, time of movement and balance is negative. Therefore, it is not advisable to use static stretching before a match or a training session.

Warming up is as important a part of your overall training as is the mainstream exercise. It should not be neglected as the exercise will then become less effective and may lead to serious injury.
