Описание к видео 5 Days of Emergency Backup Power Using V2L Adapter | Ioniq 5 | EV6 | GV60 | EV9 | Kona | Ioniq 6

I just got my vehicle to load adapter and this thing is going to be a life saver when the power goes out. In this video I'll go over every detail of my setup and talk about how to operate the adapter, its limitations, as well as how you could utilize a similar setup to mine.

To find out how long you could run on your cars battery look at your electric bill and divide your total kWh usage by the number of days in the month. Then divide 62 kWh (80% of total battery) by the average usage from your bill. That number will be how many days you could potentially go. Obviously in an emergency situation, you would conserve power to last longer.

⚠️Disclaimer:
I am not responsible for any issues you may have due to improperly installed electrical equipment. Install your generator backup system at your own risk. If you don't know what you're doing, consult an electrician. Electricity can kill you or burn down your home! ⚠️

For those who would prefer a generator transfer switch that isolates 4 critical circuits to run from the car, this transfer switch could be a good option for you, especially if your electrical panel doesn't have any room for new circuits:
