MCU: 25 New Avengers That Will Be Introduced To The MCU

In the ever growing garden of soon to be big ticket heroes we’re starting to see a lot of MCU growth potential so we’ve arranged them here in neat little pots. It’s a lot to keep up with so we’ve sorted them for all you from already bloomed and growing, to seeds that have been planted and then a few we’ve gotta dig deeper for. Some we know are coming like Shang-Chi, Kate Bishop, Yelena Belova, Red Guardian and of course our brand new Captain America. There is so much room to create so much more in depth storytelling with the inclusion ongoing Disney + streaming series. Just look at The Falcon and Winter Soldier. Having just dedicated an entire series to Anthony Mackie’s character coming to terms with taking up the shield, it only seems appropriate for that emotional journey to have a lasting impact in the MCU. With no shortage of super soldiers, magic users, and, y’know, alien folk zippin’ around, what these guys really need as they face new baddies is a moral compass — which is exactly what Steve Rogers was, and Sam Wilson has proven he can be.

Then we have the up and comers like Jane Foster’s Thor, Blade, Miss Marvel Kamala Khan, The Fantastic 4 and Namor who have all been announced but we have yet to see lift a hammer or throw a long armed punch. Blade might possibly add an entirely new supernatural realm so let’s also talk about the looming specter that is Moon Knight. There is a lot coming out of Wakanda, with Ryan Coogler not only directing Black Panther 2 but reportedly creating a new Wakanda series on Disney + with Namor possibly also being introduced. Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross has been sitting under our noses since the MCU’s first year when we were still experimenting with Hulks. If Edward Norton can transform into Mark Ruffalo then when will we finally see Ross turn into Red Hulk? In The Falcon and Winter Soldier we caught the first glimpses of a young Joaquin Torres, who was a first lieutenant and intelligence officer working with Sam Wilson early on in the series. Since daddy issues loom large in the MCU expect Cassie to want to take on the mantle of her father and eventually take on the role as Stature. There are some great young hero prospects like Nova or America Chavez as well as villains like Dr. Doom. Plus how do we get through this thing without talking about Marvel’s first family in the Fantastic Four?
