Philippine Native Hardwood Furniture in Baguio City

We'll take a trip around Baguio City, Philippines to see some of the native tropical hardwood furniture there.
The availability of these species has become more and more limited, and some of the prices have increased dramatically in recent years - let's plant more of these trees!
In this video we'll look at some of the densest species of wood and some of the most expensive species of wood in the Philippines like molave (Vitex parviflora), Kamagong (diospyros sp.) (philippine ebony), Ipil (Intsia bijuga), and Narra (Pterocarpus indicus). We'll also look at Benguet Pine (Pinus kesiya) as well as some non-native wood - mahogany (Swietenia macrophylla) and camphor wood (still determining if it is Cinnamomum camphora or another species).

Along the way we'll stop by a park to see a Bagras / Rainbow Eucalyptus (Eucalyptus deglupta) tree, and some local coffee and vegetables in the Baguio City Market.
