Accountability for Congregate Care with Paris Hilton, Breaking Code Silence, and Think of Us

Join us LIVE (October 20th at 6:15pm EST) for a virtual evening discussing the harms of institutionalizing youth. Paris Hilton has partnered with Breaking Code Silence and Think of Us to host a panel discussion on institutional abuse within congregate care facilities including group homes. Moderated by Steve Clemons, the Editor-at-large of The Hill, you will hear first person accounts of what institutionalization is really like and why the need for change is now.

Breaking Code Silence is a survivor-led nonprofit organization aimed at tackling the “Troubled Teen Industry.” Through advocacy, awareness, research, and legislation, BCS has two primary goals: 1) eradicating institutional child abuse, and 2) empowering institutional abuse survivors - to heal themselves and promote positive social change through self-advocacy.
