Grand Theft Auto 3D Universe: Good to Evil (GTA III, Vice City & San Andreas)

Grand Theft Auto is widely considered one of the greatest game series ever made. And ever since it’s huge popularity sparked, specifically with Grand Theft Auto III; Rockstar Games has been crushing the industry with it’s crazy take on all sorts of criminal underworlds.

Thanks to its satirical take on American culture, fearlessness when it comes to crossing lines, and of course offering players complete freedom to wreak havoc in every way imaginable, the GTA franchise has evolved into a whole cultural phenomenon.

But with so many criminal characters with intersecting stories, we knew that we had to give it the Good-to-Evil treatment. Fans of the series know that the PS2 era games that many refer to as the “3D Universe” are set in the same universe, while the “HD” era titles: GTA IV and V, are set in their own reimagined versions of the universe. We’ll tackles those games in a future episode. Today, we’ll be digging into the morality of the characters in the 3D Universe. That is GTA III, Vice City and San Andreas.
