So as of December 2019, the cheapest Macbook you can buy on Amazon New is the Macbook Air 2017 which is also the number 1 best seller on it right now and in this video we are going to be discussing if this is a viable Macbook alternative or not. Most Macbooks are pretty expensive, way above $1000 but this one at $700 with an i5 processor seems to be a solid option at first glance for most people. In this video, I'm going to be reviewing the Macbook Air 2017 with regards to other laptops at it's price that were out recently and in comparison to the new 2019 Macbook Air that is much more expensive as well. In this review, I'll be going over the main aspects of the laptop including build quality and design, port selection and input, keyboard and trackpad, sound, display, peformance and battery life.
