Dissidence continues to brew in BJP after the cabinet expansion. Umesh Katti has said Basavaraj Bommai of toppling the government.

Nalin Kumar Katil met BJP National Secretary (Org) BL Santhosh in Delhi today. Nalin Kumar Katil's followers celebrated carrying their leader on shoulders after he was made the president of Karnataka BJP.

Gajalayana, a traditional March of Dasara Elephants was flagged off today at Veerahosanahalli in Bandipur National Forest, Hunsur, Mysuru. The flagging off function was followed by swordsmanship and sword dance.

The newly inducted Ministers visited the flood affected regions in Karnataka.
