In this video, Bruce brings a unique insight on the importance of accurate crude oil quality measurement across the midstream and downstream supply chain.

In his session today, you will first see the multiple types of crude oil that are available to refineries. Bruce then defines the important crude oil qualities, API gravity and sulfur, followed by a demo of what a crude assay tells us or how distillation cut points vary across a number of crude oils. Finally, he discusses the components of a typical crude assay used by midstream and downstream operators.
