Theme Park (Megadrive) - United Kingdom

I never really played much of this as a kid, my friend had all versions of Theme Park, Rollercoaster Tycoon, and even Legoland. I never really played them much, I owned Zoo Tycoon and Rollercoaster Tycoon 1 & 2, but yeah I was never any good at them.
I occasionally borrowed the Megadrive version of this from him, but always used cheats.

So I decided to play through the first level legitimately for a change.

It isn't that hard, I was probably just impatient.
The only thing is that you need to keep an eye on several things at once,
if you see piles of litter physically direct your Handyman to them.
If nobody is buying from a shop, reduce the price a little, or make sure it has good access.
Sell it after a year or so if it's still not making money. Placing exits to rides near shops is a good idea, as the people are a bit thick and need persuasion. Likewise try to block routes.
I don't know if aesthetics actually do anything, but I chuck the odd bit of decoration here and there when it unlocks.

The hardest part is probably the wage negotiations, crippling british unions always wanting more money, suppliers seem to take a cut for a few years oddly enough.

If you're wondering why it speeds up (at least the music), I decide to swap the region to NTSC after a break. It makes the resolution better.

At the end of the video I sell the park and make a cool $1.2m, leaving me free to buy Nigeria, Egypt, or Scandinavia.
I don't really see any point in doing EVERY level, but if this gets popular enough I guess I could play through to owning Japan (the most expensive).
