The Opening Ceremony for the Paris Olympic Games is exactly four months away today.

The Australian team will be looking to improve on an impressive sixth place in the medal tally from Tokyo, winning 17 gold medals, including nine in the pool.

Former Olympic swimmer Duncan Armstrong joined Sky News Australia to discuss the upcoming Games.

Mr Armstrong is best remembered for winning a gold medal and silver medal at the 1988 Summer Olympics.

He regards his world-record breaking win as a “perfect day”.
