[Saxxy Awards Entry 2015: Extended] Tickets

EDIT3: sigh Apparently there exists a need to elaborate something: This was my first true attempt at an SFM movie longer than like 10 seconds, made over 3 years ago when I was still figuring out how the program worked. As such, it won't be perfect or anything close to that.
However, I am working on a Director's Cut of this first effort, a more polished version with less stock animations, better camera movements, a more fleshed-out story to alleviate confusion, and the complete vision I had for the idea going into it years ago.

EDIT2: Okay, I get it: I used sequences for the majority of the animations. Sue me. :\ I entered the Saxxies, I didn't win. Get. Over. It. Look past that to what I actually put together and hopefully get some kind of entertainment from it. /EDIT2

EDIT: Well, I didn't get the nomination; but I'm not mad. :) There were some excellent, hilarious entries this year from probably more established animators than me that I had to compete with. However, I will take from this the humility to admit my weaknesses with this piece and give you, the people who've supported me and graced me with your (mostly) good-willed critiques, the promise that not only my next animation but all of my others to come will only become more deserving of your time and attention. :) Thank you all who supported this animation, and I hope to hear from you in regards to my next. ;) /EDIT

It's taken me a few months, but I have delivered on what I've set out to do: create an SFM that combines [nearly] all of the Team Fortress 2 Halloween event maps into one somewhat seamless movie.

From start to finish, it shows not only the evolution of my growing skills with SFM but also of my TF2 experience. When I got back into the game two years ago, I only had the three equipped items for Pyro to my name: the Carrion Companion, the Bozo's Bouffant, and the Gold Botkiller Flamethrower (still to this day my only Steel Trap tour completion reward). Now, I have a weapon and cosmetic collection that I'm more than proud of and a great number of friends to share my experiences with. :)

Speaking of my friends, even though this movie was start-to-finish animated solely by me, I did receive a bit of help regarding loadout suggestions for some of the characters, workshop asset creation, and indirect assistance regarding animation stumbling blocks I had (unpaintable cosmetics, particle effects, filming tricks, etc.) that I would like to give credit to below:
