Apple's Planning a Major New Feature for AirPods Pro

Apple has expanded its AirPods range since 2016, offering four models and new software functions. In September 2023, Apple introduced Adaptive Audio, a blend of active noise reduction and transparency mode to extend AirPods Pro's wear time. Bloomberg's Mark Gurman predicts a new hearing aid mode for AirPods Pro alongside iOS 18, which will complement the current "Conversation Boost" and "Live Listen" features. Gurman also mentioned that the functionality might be deployed alongside iOS 18, likely in fall 2024.
