《作品的說話》解說：

「用作品說話」，姜濤常掛口邊一句。
對，作品裡，永遠有說話。
每件藝術作品，莫論好壞，都總有話要說。
目的只為沉默地欣賞著作品的人，漸於心裡也都有話想說。
以下作品，可曾於你心裡留下什麼千言萬語？

"Let the song speak for itself'" as Keung To often says. Yes, there is always a message within a song. A work of art always has something to say, regardless of its quality. When one quietly enjoys a work solely for the purpose of appreciation, he/she will also have something to say by and by. Have the following works of art overwhelmed you with a thousand words in heart?

於1945年拍攝，廣島原爆後那幀經典黑白照片。
於1971年灌錄，John Lennon那首反戰名曲《Imagine》。
於1947年以荷蘭文出版，Anne Frank憋於密室中撰寫的《安妮日記》。
於1989年塌下，但至今仍於柏林圍牆遺址延綿萬里的七彩塗鴉。
於1958年誕生，Gerald Holtom利用旗語來設計，後來成為反戰象徵的著名反核符號。

"Imagine", the legendary anti-war song recorded in 1971 by John Lennon.
"Diary of Anne Frank", written by Anne Frank cooped up in a secret cell, was published in 1947.
The colouful graffiti art featuring ruins of the vast Berlin Wall demolished in 1989.
Created in 1958, the Nuclear Disarmament logo, designed by Gerald Holtom using the flag semaphore alphabet, later became an international peace symbol.

究竟是什麼，令我們心懷仇恨？
又是什麼，導致我們手執武器？
善惡是種選擇，如果所有藝術作品都能從愛出發，那麼，我們：
可否放下那張刀，用一雙手去拍一張照片？
可否放下那手槍，用一雙手去寫一闋樂曲？
可否放下那子彈，用一雙手去撰一部小說？
或，可否拆下你胸口珍貴的軍官勳章，去兌換一幅純真的兒童畫，並掛於人類文明的迴廊上，展示愛的真貌？

Why do we harbour hatred? And why do we take up arms? Good and evil is a choice. Should all works of art be borne out of love, shall we then: drop the sword and shoot a picture with the hands, put down the gun and write a song with the hands, leave aside the bullet and pen a novel with the hands？Or, could you take away your treasured officer medal in exchange for an innocent child painting to be erected at the civilisation corridors of mankind, showing the genuine face of love?

九胎《鏡中鏡》是姜濤了解並尋回內在自我的過程；
十胎《作品的說話》是他向外界呼喊及勸勉的心聲。
九胎是與自己和解；
十胎是盼世界和解。
從Verse的散亂及完全不押韻，到Pre-Chorus局部押韻，再到副歌的完全工整押韻――象徵著世界從混沌中逐漸邁向和平，於漫長文明旅途上逐漸明心見性。
也是希冀，也是關懷；
破鏡重圓，繼續說話。

"Spiegel im Spiegel", the ninth baby, offers Keung To a journey to understand and find his inner self, whereas in the tenth baby, "What The Work Says", Keung appeals to the outer world. The ninth makes peace with himself and the tenth is a wish for world peace. From the totally unrhymed opening verses, to the partly rhymed pre-chorus and the perfectly-rhymed, symmetrical chorus, the lyric pattern symbolises the transition from turmoil to peace of the world. Inner peace is found after traversing the long winding road of civilisation. It is a wish and a concern. The broken mirror has been mended and we will continue to speak up.
