Song of Not’Chek - featuring Kelli Siren

Commissioned for Arcadum. A piece for orchestra, choir and soprano soloist. The choir sings an original Japanese haiku “Fude to sumi / Monogatari kata / Omoi fude” which translates to “Brush and ink / To tell a story / Heavy brush.” Inspiration for the haiku was taken from Arcadum’s depiction of the mysterious warrior who wielded a massive paintbrush in order to fend off the eyeless ones. The then imbued scroll is handed to Not’Chek for his protection. Special thanks to Kelli Siren who added killer vocals.
