Why TDE Failed with Ab-Soul

This video is going to be about a rapper named Ab-Soul. The Black Lip Pastor, if you will. He’s connected to the label TDE, the same label that has signed big-name artist a Kendrick Lamar, Isaiah, Rashad, SZA, and ScHoolboy Q. Ab-Soul has a really cult-like Fan Base, and has always personally been at one of my favorites. However, out of all the members in the group, he was the one that got overshadowed the most at first people thought he was great with being the underdog but recently, he did an interview with Joe Budden and revealed that he’s sick of being an underground rapper, and really wants to start blowing up. However, he’s been in the game for almost 15 years now, and it seems like the label is only pushing him now because Kendrick Lamar recently got off the label, and they have more money to invest into other artists such as Ab-Soul.
